What a great little place in a nice location. The price was perfect. We'll come back.
Overall for the money it was good. The couch was super comfy, so were the beds although slightly smaller than I would have liked. Shower is surprisingly good. Room 5B was quite noisy during the nightime, almost sounding like the building was going to fall over.
Just stayed here over the 4th of July. Our original cabin got overbooked and we needed a place for 7 people for the holiday weekend...we were so upset because we were sure everything would be booked. Lo and behold, while driving around we saw this place and the woman had two rooms for us for the whole weekend! It was such a find! The rooms were amazing. Each had two bedrooms, two full bathrooms, full kitchens and a living room. It was super clean and quaint. The brook is right behind the building and is so relaxing to listen to in the evening. This place was a life saver! Would absolutely stay here again in the ADKs!!
This is a cheap, clean and convenient motel, I highly recommend it. I have stayed here in midsummer and midwinter. It makes for a great base for activities in the Adirondacks. The kitchenette is fully stocked with pans, ware,cutlery, etc. so you can cook your own meals. In summer the sound of the brook out back is very soothing; in winter the place is cosy and warm. Marlene is a great hostess.
Excellent prices, quiet location, babbling brook in the back, comfortable, clean and convenient rooms. Two queen beds and a twin, a full kitchen and a living room, two full baths and two bedrooms, regardless how many people stayed there, was only $100 per night. You can't beat it for a group of three or five.
